I’m not the first person to come up with this idea and I’m not sure who was but I love it so I thought I would give it a try myself. It is embroidered notebook paper! It is a great springboard for your imagination to create some fun embroidered doodles!
First, I gathered some plain white cotton fabric and a piece of composition notebook paper to use as my reference.
I ironed out the fabric and placed it on top of the notebook paper to trace the lines.
Looking back, I would have chosen a disappearing ink pen so that the pencil lines would not be visible after sewing.
I sewed over the lines I made and that’s it! A piece of sewn notebook paper, ready to stitch-doodle on top of just like the old days when you doodled in class. Free your mind and let your imagination take over.
I have a project in mind to use these for which I will post soon.
Hope you enjoy and give it a try. Easy and fun!
Warmly,
Pam
